Sac Bee Articles Exposes District Desperation

      The Sacramento Bee (click here) exposed the desperation of the Sac City “leaders.”  After repeated denials, the Superintendent and Board President Jay Hansen finally conceded Sac City has massive problem recruiting and retaining certificated staff.

         The District always seems to find money for administrators, including those who have been accused of sexual harassment (click here and here).

       We can’t become a Destination District if recruiting and retaining teachers, adding arts and music, improving special education, reducing class sizes, adding more school nurses, psychologists, and support professionals, improving professional learning are not our District’s highest priorities.
