SCTA Has Active Labor Day

Labor Day is the one holiday of the year that honors the sacrifices and success of the labor movement.

SCTA leaders were part of the celebration.  SCTA joined the festivities of the Sacramento Central Labor Council, the umbrella organization of labor in the region.

Among the many who visited our table were Mayor-elect Darrell Steinberg and City Councilmember Eric Guerra, both of whom are committed to joining our Community Forum on Public Education on September 20th at Fruitridge Elementary.

Meanwhile, across town, SCTA leaders volunteered at the Loaves and Fishes Labor Day Holiday Breakfast to feed the homeless.
