Calendar Change?

Once again, the District is proposing to change the Sac City calendar.

Last year, the discussion fizzled after District administrators proposed to hold forums with parents and students AFTER the decision had been made, an objection we set forth in this letter

There is justification pro and con regarding a change. In this correspondence also from last year, we raised a number of issues that we hoped the District would address to alleviate concerns, before any change was finalized.

Our bottom line is that whatever decision is made parents, students, and educators should have a chance to offer opinions and get questions answered before any change occurs.
