Banda Announces Exit From Sac City

At last night’s school board meeting (January 19), Superintendent Jose Banda opened the meeting by announcing he had notified the board that he would not be seeking reappointment when his contract expired in June.

Banda’s announcement is neither a surprise, nor unwelcome news.

Despite a long history in education, the Superintendent has been a disappointment.

We expect to be involved in the selection of a successor and hope that the new superintendent will have the passion and commitment to work with us to make Sac City the Destination District for California.
