Election for SCTA officers and directors will be held Monday, March 26 through Friday, March 30, 2012. This year there are no State Council or State Council Alternate seats open
Candidates are sought for the following offices:
Vice President 2nd Vice President Secretary Treasurer High School Director Middle School Director Pupil Services Director Elementary Directors (2) Special Ed Director
Adult Ed Director
Nominations or declarations of candidacy must be received in the SCTA office by 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2012. All persons seeking election must also submit a candidate’s statement and picture (optional) for inclusion in The Direct Line. Statements must list teaching experience and Association experience and may include a statement of 100 words or less. No statements will be accepted unless they are written on the candidate form. Pictures should be black and white (color does not reproduce well) and may not be larger than 3 1/2″ by 5 1/2″. Pictures and statements must be received in the SCTA office no later than Friday, February 24, 2012, in order to appear in an SCTA publication.
